Counselling is often associated with being something which people need when they're going through something really difficult, or if they're experiencing mental health issues. Whilst for some people this will be a reason that they seek out counselling initially, counselling can also be the ultimate form of self-care. Counselling can create the opportunity for you to prioritise your wellbeing and develop your sense of who you are.

Counselling sessions are your safe and confidential space to talk about whatever you choose. I will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others. I will not give you my opinion or advice, the focus is that we work together to help you find your own solutions – whether that’s making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with challenges.

Counselling can be helpful if you are facing challenges in your life, or if you wish to explore yourself more.

 Integrative counselling can offer you:

  • The space to facilitate personal growth and development

  • Eliminate or mitigate your feelings of distress

  • Increase your self-esteem and openness to experience

  • Enhance your understanding of yourself

  • Give you better understanding and awareness

  • Decrease your feelings of defensiveness, insecurity, and guilt

  • Develop greater trust in yourself

  • Allow you to form healthier relationships

  • Improve your ability for self-expression

  • Improve your mental health and wellbeing
